The storefront has striped black and white decor, signs advertising pizza, ribs, chicken, and other menu items, and a sign indicating hot delivery within a five-mile area. The people appear to be waiting or about to enter the restaurant.

Ten Mile House on Central Street will soon have a makeover and reopen as The Spot, a pizza and Italian comfort-food restaurant that will offer local craft beers, wine and cocktails alongside its food…each customer will feel they are special every time they go.

“The owners hope the new pizza spot will be a “go-to destination for fans and visitors” on game day at the new Ryan Field and is taking the name of the old Evanston pizzeria that operated on Foster Street but closed in the 1980s. The restaurant will undergo a full renovation in the coming weeks and plans to open in the late Spring.”

“The Spot’s menu has not been released, but based on their website it will serve different kinds of tavern-style pizzas, pastas, salads and small bites. Beer will be on tap, and a bar program is also planned. Space for outdoor dining from Ten Mile House may also be utilized.”
